If I were right, the night that passed before I ate that great helping of hamburger helper without the hamburger is larger than the day when my parents may or may not have given their approval towards weening hours words or dirges meant for a respective lot coddling each sodden ploy to get more play at the station
Okay, I know you have something against music. Not that you are easily amused, but if you check the side note on your download, you might notice that most of this hulabaloo is new to a few folks who haven't listened to the radio.
Radio play is part of a culture that panders to today's law abiding clients who like to hear free sounds.
Mountains will move before more people see the value in how clueless a populace can be about free speech. Simply put, a good deal is about shirking the old and folding on the first, even though times change and tastes mature. If I had a radio station, I would want the best music, the greatest playlists and the last word on not what was, trends already set and explored, but working artistry, even inventive or plentiful trills describing what fills my listener's ear with whatever they think is valuable about music.
True, it most likely is the same for an internet station or label, but lately only a select few are able to glue together the ideas coming out of the speakers, the voice of choices running low and behind restrictive management of how creativity is planned in and around the sound, new or otherwise.
